According to recent General Motors press release, almost 2 out of 3 buyers of the Traverse and Equinox traded in non-Chevrolet vehicles so far this year. Half of buyers traded in a non-GM vehicle. Chevrolet sold a combined 120,000 Equinox and Traverse models during the first 6 months of 2010, an increase of nearly 80% over last year.
