The classic Chevrolet Impala is finally scheduled for a design change. And this time, it's going to be something special. The 2014 Impala is expected to move "upmarket" in price, features and will even become the flagship of Chevrolet's lineup. The car will offer more standard equipment than the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu.¹

According to recent General Motors press release, almost 2 out of 3 buyers of the Traverse and Equinox traded in non-Chevrolet vehicles so far this year.  Half of buyers traded in a non-GM vehicle.  These "conquest" vehicles are part of a very exciting trend as GM works to expand its share of the US market.

General Motors is getting on board with the latest smartphone and mobile computing technology. OnStar, the onboard vehicle assistance and GPS  servic available on most Chevrolet vehicles, is going to team up with Google's Android operating system on smartphones.

The first supported devices to be announced will be those that use the Android software from Google, like the Motorola Droid and HTC Droid Incredible. The service will still be done through OnStar, with the company taking a role in developing its own apps to work with GM vehicles.
