Chevy Announces 2011 Pricing

The 2011 Chevrolet Cruze hopes to be the next major 4-door sedan to help an already growing GM line-up of family friendly cars. In production for almost two years, the time for Cruze has finally arrived, and official pricing has been divulged.

Starting later this year, you can pick up at 2011 Cruze sedan (LS trim) for a beginning MSRP of $16,995. Potential buyers of the 2011 Cruze won't be able to test drive a car until they begin hitting dealership lots in September, but the buzz around the car is still hot. Cruze was initially a hybrid car concept when it first appeared in 2009 at auto shows world wide. It was soon switched over to a gasoline powered sedan, set to take place of Chevy's Cobalt. The car will be produced at the Lordstown, Ohio assembly plant - and may still be available with hybrid drive in the future.

Coupled with this model is a 1.8-liter Ecotec engine rated at 138 bhp,  a 6-speed manual transmission, 10 airbags, traction control, ABS, air conditioning, power windows and other features, Cruze is sure to be a blast to drive..

Other models include the LT with a 1.4-liter Ecotec turbo engine, 6-speed automatic transmission and 16-inch wheels.

The Eco model Cruze, also available later this year, starts at $18,895 and features 17-inch alloys, ultra low-rolling resistance tires and an expected 40 mpg on the highway, as well as the features-packed LZT starting at $22,695.

Fun options for the 2011 Cruze incudes a 40 GB computer memory installed in the dash, to be used for storing music, movies and other fun applications.
